When should students begin working with an advisor?
The earlier, the better! We recommend:
Grades 8–9: Career exploration and academic planning, extracurricular planning
Grades 10–11: College research, extracurricular planning, testing strategy
Grade 12: Applications, essays, scholarships, and financial aid
However, students can begin at any stage.
Do you offer virtual meetings?
Yes. We offer both virtual and in-person appointments (when available), making it convenient for families regardless of location.
How long are advising sessions?
Most individual sessions last between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs.
Can parents attend meetings?
Absolutely! Parents are encouraged to participate, especially during planning and financial aid discussions.
